PITTSBURGH, Feb. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Shortly after Tier1 was featured in the media highlighting their recent deal with Tecum Capital Partners, where they secured an investment to support future growth, Tier1 announced today their most recent hire – Dawn Williams-Zabicki as Vice President, Organizational Transformation & Program Governance.
Rob Guidarelli, Tier1 CEO, states his excitement for adding another team member with extensive experience and enthusiasm for growth. He stated, "Dawn comes to us with over 20 years of experience helping companies adopt business and technology transformation initiatives. We look forward to her assistance in achieving our full growth potential while remaining committed to customer success. This new addition to the team is a perfect fit at the perfect time and we [Tier1] couldn't be happier."
Williams-Zabicki states, "I am thrilled to be joining Tier1 at this important time! The company is poised for strategic growth into new spaces while maintaining its continued drive for operational excellence in the areas that has made Tier1 the organization it is today."
Williams-Zabicki's background positions her for success in this role. She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA as well as a Master of Business Administration from Solvay Business School at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Brussels, Belgium. Her work experience includes senior roles at Duquesne Light, Eaton Corporation, KPMG, US Steel, and Ernst & Young. She has served on both sides of the IT function, in industry and as an external consultant, focusing on ERP Implementations, Change Management, Project Management, Program Management Office, Target Operating Model Development and Transformation, and IT Audit and Governance.
Williams-Zabicki's focus at Tier1 will be two-fold. First, she will be focusing on refining all aspects of internal operations. This will include reviewing and adapting all processes and the organizational structure to ensure Tier1 can maximize their growth potential while achieving the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
Her second focus will be assisting Tier1 in the development of new service offerings. This will include services such as Change Management, Organizational Transformation, more comprehensive Project Management and Program Governance.
In explaining how her background will benefit her in her new role with Tier1, Williams-Zabicki states, "My passion is in helping organizations manage the people and process changes that strategic IT transformations introduce. My background and experience are the perfect complement to the core strength of Tier1's technology expertise."
She goes on to state her enthusiasm for the future of Tier1 and her opportunity to be a part of that next chapter, "I am really energized about the opportunities to help expand the consulting services that we can offer to our clients. We can offer a robust suite of services focused on helping customers get the most out of their IT initiatives."
Guidarelli shares in that excitement saying, "We are at a point where we are ready for rapid growth in our service offerings and, in turn, our staff. With these changes, I am more excited than ever about the future of Tier1."
