To a city that has lost many major employers in the past two years, this is life changing! Thrive Market will become the second largest employer in the area and is only expected to grow after seeing 100% growth in the last quarter alone.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to bring Thrive Market's largest, most advanced Fulfillment Center to Indiana. We are so grateful to the community for such a warm welcome and look forward to creating hundreds of jobs for the hard workers in Batesville and the surrounding areas who share our mission to make healthy food accessible to all American families," said John Winkles, Thrive Market's VP of Operations.
Thrive Market's is committed to making it easy and affordable for previously underserved populations to have access to healthy products. With 100,000 orders in just the past 30 days, the new location will make two-day shipping possible for 90% of Thrive Market's rapidly growing membership base throughout the U.S.
"One of the most exciting things about this new Fulfillment Center," said Nick Green, Thrive Market's Co-Founder and Co-CEO, "is that it is located within one-day ground shipping of many of the country's largest food deserts in the Midwest and the Southeast, enabling us to get healthy food to underserved populations in under a day. It fits perfectly into our goal of breaking down not only the economic barriers to healthy living, but the geographic ones too."
Next generation automation, conveyance, and sorting systems will now get members' orders out faster and cheaper. And the large warehouse will enable Thrive Market to pass off even more savings to members with "forward buying," locking in better pricing on the most sought after organic, non-GMO, and better health brands they are known for.
Launched in 2014, Los Angeles headquartered Thrive Market offers more than 3,500 healthy foods and natural products from more than 400 best-selling brands at wholesale prices through a simple membership model and offers content to inspire, educate, and empower members to live their best lives.
