Thought Marketing and Menlo Security Win Cyber Security Awards for Driving Digital Marketing Growth
Teamwork earns Bronze Stevie® Awards recognition for digital campaigns and marketing department excellence
LOS ALTOS, Calif., May 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Thought Marketing™, a strategic business consultancy, together with Menlo Security, a pioneer of cloud-based security isolation technology, won two Bronze Stevie® Awards in the 15th Annual American Business Awards.
The combined talents of in-house and consultant groups worked as one virtual team to communicate cyber security isolation techniques to global IT security buyers throughout 2016. As a result, Menlo Security has experienced increased interest in its Web and email isolation solutions, which reduce phishing, ransomware and other online threats to businesses.
In the Marketing Award Category for 2017, the "Online Marketing Campaign of the Year" award recognized communications for Menlo Security's primary research into what threats plague today's on-line experience. The State of the Web report revealed that nearly half of Web sites are risky, and the report's findings were shared through email, blogs, a Web resource center, and social media as part of the award-winning digital marketing campaign.
The "Marketing Department of the Year" award recognized the Menlo Security virtual team for its 2016 global efforts that delivered three major digital marketing campaigns, 25+ events worldwide, a new web site, and nearly a dozen custom content pieces. In the competitive and demanding cyber security start-up sector, the award acknowledged how a combination of outsourced and full-time resources can work together to achieve excellence.
In addition to Thought Marketing, key partners in the wins included Brain Communications, a design firm based in Vancouver, Canada, as well as Menlo Security teams across US, Europe and Asia.
"These awards validate one of my favorite expressions – I love it when a plan comes together," said Allison J. Taylor, founder and CEO of Thought Marketing. "Menlo Security is a hot security start-up that is going places, and I'm thrilled to be part of a winning team that constantly innovates and improves marketing quality. Collaboration and teamwork always pay off when you set clear objectives and measure your way to marketing success."
"Working within a tight budget is the normal operating mode for a start-up, and this team has really delivered on the challenge of making the most out of our marketing spend," said Peter Lunk, Vice President, Marketing at Menlo Security. "The results are largely attributable to the willingness of the entire team to support one another to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality content, delivered through thoughtful and innovative campaigns."
The American Business Awards are the nation's premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning "crowned," the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Tuesday, June 20. Stevie Awards competitions receive more than 10,000 entries each year from organizations in more than 60 nations.
