Therap's Disability Software Offers a HIPAA-Secure Document Storage Solution
Providers Securely Access Both Individual and Agency-Specific Documents Using Therap Electronic Documentation Software
WATERBURY, Conn., Feb. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Therap's Document Storage module allows agencies to store different external documents for an individual ranging from different forms and types of documentation, and categorize, tag and access them from a centrally located depository within the system. Agencies use the Document Storage feature to store documentation including intake and admission orders, authorizations, consultant reports, discharge orders, lab results, referral documents, and other parts of the individual file. Documents are uploaded as attachments within Document Storage, while the module notes access and user views for agencies to maintain HIPAA compliance while making documentation available to the team members and personnel who need to view them.
The Document Storage module is one of more than 80 unique tools offered by Therap to support agencies, providers or self advocates and individuals tracking required and relevant documentation for people with disabilities. In storing multiple forms and paperwork, assessments, and documents in one central location accessible to team members on a need-to-view basis, any member of the team who needs view access can see and track necessary documents in place for service provision. Furthermore, the module features storage for agency-wide documents along with designated view access. Agency administrators can file and access their agency-specific documents including reports, training manuals, acknowledgements, policy documents, handbooks and memos, and keep forms current, accessible and tracked from a centralized location. Moreover, document types can be customized and external documents can be collected together in HIPAA-compliant way.
