Therap Facilitates Meeting Staffing Requirements at LTSS Facilities
Disability Software verifies staff to resident ratio for service provision
WATERBURY, Conn., April 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- With its new Staff Ratio Tracking module, Therap enhances the person centric documentation process by helping to track the number of support staff providing services to an individual(s). The module records the hours of Direct Support Professionals, Nurses, QIDPs and House Managers who are present and providing supports to individuals receiving services.
The ratio tracking module captures data in real time using electronic signatures to maintain data integrity and meet Long Term Services and Supports (LTSS) compliance and quality assurance measures. Staff are able to enter time in/time out multiple times per day. Customizable templates allow data to be recorded for both staff and individuals for different shifts and multiple program sites. Supervisors can set up templates to schedule both the number of staff present during a shift and the number of individuals present at a given time. Additionally, they can verify staff to resident ratio assumptions and further analyze the staffing needs of individuals across the agency. Therap's Staff Ratio Tracking module allows supervisors to analyze staff turnover and generate detailed reports that provide data on either staff or individuals.
The staff ratio tracking feature, along with other support features offered by Therap, helps facilitate the person centered planning process by taking into account the staffing needs of the individual. Staff Ratio Tracking enables improved care plans that are driven by staff to individual ratio needs and associated outcomes.
