TheLadders Donates $300,000 In Free Services To Job Seekers Needing Hurricane Sandy Relief
NEW YORK, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- To ease the job search for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy, premier online job-matching service TheLadders today announced that it has donated more than $300,000 in free services to thousands of new and existing members. Last week, the company sent an email to job seekers in the Tri-State Area – from more than 5 million members nationwide -- offering them a three-month Premium membership to help boost their efforts.
Waiving the usual $49 three-month fee, TheLadders is providing job seekers with weekly job matches, targeted hiring alerts, applications to any open job and, with an uploaded resume, they can become searchable to more than 25,000 recruiters and employers. Additionally, they can receive a detailed resume critique from one of TheLadders' certified professional resume writers, as well as access career advice from Job Search Expert Amanda Augustine.
