The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights Announces Virtual Press Conference on Its Report: "Environmental Justice: Examining the Environmental Protection Agency's Compliance and Enforcement of Title VI and E.O. 12,898"

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights will convene a virtual press conference to release and discuss its 2016 Statutory Enforcement Report Environmental Justice: Examining the Environmental Protection Agency's Compliance and Enforcement of Title VI and E.O. 12,898. The report examines whether the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has complied with its environmental justice obligations. The Commission finds that the EPA continues to struggle with upholding its civil rights obligations to minority communities.
