The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals in the DC, Charlotte and South Florida Markets for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, CEO and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at Hotel Monaco and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including El Vez and Buddakan.

The Siegfried Group is excited about Paul Gulisano, Kaysie Silver and Candice Thomas joining the Firm.

Paul Gulisano

Paul joins the South Florida Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from the Florida based CPA firm, Kaufman Rossin, where he gained more than two years of audit experience with a wide array of clients in various industries from manufacturing to medical servicing. Prior to this role, he worked in the assurance department of Marcum LLP for three years primarily focusing on SEC clients and governmental entities. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and his Master of Accountancy from Florida International University.

Paul brings forth his strong work ethic and communication skills, coupled with his unique ability to deliver out-of-the-box solutions that continually exceed expectations. He says, "I decided to join Siegfried for the variety of experiences and the chance to work with so many devoted and intelligent individuals."

In his free time, Paul stays active through various outdoor activities and travelling. When possible, he enjoys mixing the two and embarking on outdoor activities while he travels; such as skiing in Colorado or waterfall jumping in Hawaii. He plans to maintain his active lifestyle wherever his work travels take him.

Kaysie Silver

Kaysie joins the Charlotte Market as an Associate Manager. Prior to Siegfried, she served both Driven Brands, Inc. as an Advertising Finance Manager/AP Manager and Prestige Cruise Holdings as a Revenue Accounting Manager.  She served six years in public accounting with both Deloitte and Crowe Horwath in audit with experience in a wide variety of industries. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Wingate University and Masters of Accountancy from Clemson University.

Kaysie is an exceptional professional who prides herself on working closely with others to provide the most effective and efficient resolution.  She brings her mental agility, analytical ability and her unwavering confidence to every project, allowing her to provide lasting solutions.

In her free time, Kaysie stays active through sport and being outdoors. She is an avid Clemson supporter and loves to travel back to her alma mater for primetime football games. She also enjoys hiking in the North Carolina mountains and playing sports, having played basketball in college and multiple sports in high school.  She plans to maintain and hopefully increase her active lifestyle wherever work takes her.

Candice Thomas

Candice Thomas excitedly joins The Siegfried Group as an Associate Manager in the DC Metro Market. She joins the firm by way of E*TRADE Financial, where she served three years as a Senior Accountant on their Financial Reporting team. After graduating from the University of Maryland, she began her career at EY where she successfully completed three years of audit engagements.

Candice's creative approach to building efficiencies and tackling complex projects, coupled with her contagious positive energy has made her a proven asset throughout her career. Candice says, "The diversity of opportunities and resources to build my personal brand is what attracted me to Siegfried."

When Candice is not working diligently to improve financial accuracy, she educates youth in financial literacy through various non-profit organizations in the DC metro area. She hopes to one day build a curriculum for all high school students to learn budgeting, investing and how to pay taxes. She also plays softball and tennis recreationally as well as loves caring for her dog and blue tongue skink.
