The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals in Siegfried Advisory and Operations for New Hire Orientation
New Employees Travel to Deer Valley
WILMINGTON, Del., March 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at The Lodges at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, CEO and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.
Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at The Prime Steak House and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including Powder at the Waldorf Astoria and took the funicular up the mountain to J & G Grill. The group rounded out the week with a bowling event at Jupiter Bowl and some of those who were skiers got a chance to hit the slopes.
The Siegfried Group is excited about DeAnna Orwig and Kris Sundberg joining the Firm.
DeAnna Orwig, CPA, MIB
DeAnna is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Siegfried Advisory as a Senior Tax Associate. The Siegfried Group's affiliate company, Siegfried Advisory, provides leadership, financial and tax services to entrepreneurial individuals and growing companies. She comes to Siegfried from PwC, where she gained two years of experience with expatriate individual taxation, specializing in lawyers on international assignment. Previous to PwC, she was with RSM (formerly McGladrey) for three years in Baltimore, where she gained a broad tax base with a primary focus on high wealth families. She received her Master's in International Business from the Grenoble Graduate School of Business in Grenoble, France. She is originally from the Eastern Shore of Maryland and received her Bachelor's degrees in both Accounting and Financial Planning from Salisbury University.
Her commitment to providing exceptional client service, attention to detail, team spirit and outgoing nature make her a great fit for the Advisory team. DeAnna enjoys running, photography and constantly exploring new places, both locally and abroad. Most recently she had a blast in Vancouver, running the entire coast of the city. When she is not on the move she enjoys returning to Maryland to spend time with family or being industrious working on her new investment property.
Kris Sundberg
Kris joins Siegfried Operations as a Business Analyst. He originally started with the Siegfried as a Corporate Associate, which is a partnership with the University of Delaware's MBA program. Prior to Siegfried, he worked at the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa of Atlantic City in their entertainment department. While there, he was fortunate enough to work with entertainers such as Earth, Wind, and Fire, Joe Walsh, Usher and Peter Frampton. He received both his MBA and MS in Finance from the University of Delaware.
When asked why he wanted to join Siegfried, Kris says, "Siegfried was a natural fit for me because of its commitment to challenging and interesting work, its entrepreneurial spirit and the intensity that its people bring every day. The commitment to fun didn't hurt either."
In his spare time, he loves losing himself under the hood of a car, brewing up his next experimental beer or surfing until the sun goes down.
