The Siegfried Group Welcomes New Professionals from the Denver, Los Angeles and South Florida Markets for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Hotel Sofitel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, CEO and Founder, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Hotel Sofitel and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the area including Davio's and Morimoto.

The Siegfried Group is excited about Angela Davis, Ryan Jackson, Jordan Middleton, Kendall Newport and Guillermo Undiano joining the Firm.

Angela Davis, CPA

Angela is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Denver Market as an Associate Manager. Her previous work experience includes EY, where she gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in real estate and healthcare as well as four years with Sony's Internal Audit team in the electronics and entertainment sectors. She comes to Siegfried from MWH Global, where she helped grow the internal audit department. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana.

Angela has an unwavering positive attitude and strong organizational skills, which enable her to motivate and challenge her teams to exceed expectations. These foundational skills combined with her enthusiastic work ethic and commitment to her team, empowers her clients to achieve their vision. Angela says, "The holistic approach to personal, social and professional growth is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

Angela was born in Taiwan and has been in the United States since she was eight.  She really enjoys being able to fuse the two cultures together as there are beautiful aspects to both. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her friends and family, including her miniature Laboradoodle, as well as trying out new recipes.

Ryan Jackson, CPA

Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the South Florida Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from KPMG, where he gained three years of audit experience working in many different industries including manufacturing, retail, asset management, pharmaceutical, and not-for-profit. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting, his Bachelors of Science in Finance and his Masters in Accounting from North Carolina State University.

Ryan's tireless mindset enables him to meet deadlines and motivate his teams by portraying a great sense of effort and energy to all of his projects. Ryan says, "The opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest growing CPA firms in the nation, while having the option to work on different client service projects with other intelligent and diverse people, is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Ryan enjoys participating in sporting events and going to the beach. He's an avid traveler and plans to visit one continent every year until he has had an opportunity to visit all seven. He recently moved to South Florida and he is looking forward to meeting new people, becoming involved in community events and expanding his network. He plans to maintain his active lifestyle wherever his work travels take him.

Jordan Middleton

Jordan joins the South Florida Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from KPMG, where he gained three years of audit experience in a variety of industries, including healthcare, government, not-for-profit, manufacturing and construction. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting as well as his Bachelors of Science in Finance from Shippensburg University.

Jordan has a multifaceted skillset and easily integrates well into new environments and teams. He is excited to join the multitude of intelligent professionals at Siegfried. Jordan says, "The opportunity to work in a wide-array of business areas on new client projects is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Jordan stays active through sports, fitness and travel. He has a German Shepherd, which also contributes to his active lifestyle. He recently moved to South Florida and hopes to become involved in scuba diving and spearfishing.

Kendall Newport, CPA, CA

Kendall is a Chartered Professional Accountant joining the Los Angeles Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from PwC, where she gained five years of audit experience on a variety of clients including mining, manufacturing, financial services and tourism. She received her Bachelors of Commerce with a specialization in entrepreneurship and marketing at the University of Victoria, and her Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Saskatchewan.

Kendall's enthusiastic approach to problem-solving, and her ability to connect with others allows her to become an invaluable asset to any team. She is excited for the work she'll do with the Siegfried Group and says "I came to Siegfried because I wanted to be exposed to multiple industries in various finance and accounting roles in order to broaden my personal and professional skills."

Now that she has made the move to Southern California, Kendall hopes to take up surfing outside of work. Otherwise, you can find her biking around town, running along the beach boardwalks, taking a yoga class or participating in any sort of outdoor activity. She looks forward to exploring this and whatever other U.S. cities she ends up travelling to with Siegfried.

Guillermo Undiano, CPA

Guillermo is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the South Florida Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from PwC, where he gained five years of audit experience with a primary focus in the media, broadcasting, spirits and cruise lines industries. He received his Bachelors of Science in business management and marketing from Florida Atlantic University as well as a Masters in international business from Eastern Michigan University. He also holds an Executive Master of Science in taxation from Florida International University.

Guillermo's work ethic, social skills and innovative approach to solving problems, coupled with his desire to bring out the best in his teams, make him a distinctive player in the workplace. Guillermo says, "The challenge of working with different engagements and the ability to bring solutions to client issues is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Guillermo stays active through sports and travel. He plays soccer twice a week and loves to travel back to Spain where his family lives. He also stays connected to nature by scuba diving and spear fishing in the Florida Keys as well as hiking all the way to Santiago de Compostela or Machu Pichu, Peru or horseback riding in Texas. He plans to maintain his active lifestyle wherever his work travels take him.
