New Employees Travel to Los Angeles' Beverly Wilshire Hotel
WILMINGTON, Del., Feb. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Los Angeles.
In the South Region, Siegfried is excited about Brandon Adjei, Jean Follet, and Waqas Hussain joining the team.
Brandon Adjei, CPA
Brandon is a Certified Public Accountant who rejoined the Houston Market as a Manager. He has more than six years of public accounting experience as an external auditor and began his career working for both Deloitte and PwC. He received his BBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship and Accounting Post-Baccalaureate from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston.
Brandon's desire to take on new challenging projects, willingness to deliver high results, and infectious charisma are what set him apart in the workplace. Brandon says, "The variety of opportunities and clientele are strong draws to Siegfried, but the dynamic leadership and culture are what helped me 'boomerang' back!"
In his spare time, Brandon volunteers with Houston's First Tee, an organization dedicated to helping mentor at-risk youth by applying business concepts and golf principles to facing life's challenges. He also enjoys traveling, and studied abroad in Beijing, China while in college!
Jean Follet
Jean joins the Charlotte Market as a Manager. She has over 19 years of experience in treasury, financial analysis, and accounting and has worked in many industries including financial services, utilities, automotive, and manufacturing. She received her Bachelors in Accounting from Iona College in NY and her MBA from University of North Carolina in Charlotte.
Jean says, "The opportunity to learn new things and constantly grow in my career is why I was interested in becoming part of The Siegfried Group. The positive energy and culture of the Firm is really what I want to be part of."
Jean enjoys traveling in her leisure time, especially cruising, and staying active through boxing and yoga. She has also participated in the Polar Bear Plunge on New Year's Day for the past two years in a row!
Waqas Hussain, CA
Waqas is a Chartered Accountant from Toronto, Canada, who joins the Houston Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from BDO, and has over five years of public accounting experience in the external assurance practice, serving both privately and publicly traded clients in a wide variety of industries. He received his Bachelors of Accounting from Brock University.
His drive to learn new things, his positive attitude and his desire to bring out the best in his team, make him a perfect fit for Siegfried. Waqas says, "The opportunity to work on a variety of new and challenging client projects and in different positions is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."
In his spare time, Waqas is a big hockey fan, and stays active through snowboarding and squash. He also enjoys traveling, and always looks for adventure wherever his travels take him! In his recent road trip across Canada, he experienced hiking, fly fishing, rafting, and bungee jumping.
