Due to Firm Growth and Added Leadership Opportunities, Amy AltaVilla joins the South Region's Leadership Team
WILMINGTON, Del., May 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP is proud to announce the addition of Amy AltaVilla, to the Firm's National Market Leadership Team, as a Professional Resource Director (PRD) for the Washington, D.C. Market. Professional Resource Directors are a vital part of the Firm's success, responsible for the execution of our human resource strategy. Our PRDs play pivotal roles in the areas of professional development/individual leadership, deployment, and recruiting. They work collaboratively with our Professionals to ensure the 5 Promises are realized and that Siegfried's values of fairness, fun and build/share stakeholder value permeate all we do.
Amy joined the Firm in 2011 as a Professional Resource in the Firm's Charlotte Market where she was engaged on various interesting and challenging assignments. During this time, she became a Team Leader, where she served as a coach and mentor to a group of her peers. Now she joins the Leadership Team as she becomes a Professional Resource Director for the Washington, D.C. Market.
Before coming to Siegfried, Amy was a Corporate Financial Analyst and Divisional Controller at Polypore International. Prior to that, she was a Controller at Air Cleaning Technologies, Inc. She started her career in accounting with Iron & Glass Bank in Pittsburgh, where she served as a Staff Accountant. Amy attended the West Virginia University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Robert Morris University where she earned her Masters of Business Administration.
Amy is extremely personable and her positive outlook makes it very easy for her to connect quickly with professionals of all levels. She is very analytical and loves getting in to the details, but also understands "the big picture."
When asked about her new role, Amy said, "I wanted to become a Professional Resource Director because I really value the relationships I have built with Siegfried Professional Resources as a Team Leader. I enjoyed being their coach, mentor and friend while helping them to achieve success at their clients, as well as work towards their bigger futures. I am really excited about taking on this new role that will allow me the opportunity to collaborate with a larger group of Professional Resources, as well as Leadership, to help others realize achievements both personally and professionally."
