LOS ANGELES, Aug. 27, 2013 PRNewswire/ -- The Rides, the new blues-rock supergroup featuring legendary songwriter Stephen Stills, guitar slinger Kenny Wayne Shepherd and venerable Electric Flag keyboardist Barry Goldberg, are celebrating the release today of their debut album "Can't Get Enough" with a Best Buy in-store appearance and CD signing in Chelsea located at 60 West 23rd St. NY, NY 10010. They have built an amazing buzz with continued radio support for their first single, "Don't Want Lies" (recently #1 at tastemaker radio station KCSN 88.3). In addition, the album's momentum has been propelled by an exclusive album premiere on the Wall Street Journal's "Speakeasy" blog (http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2013/08/14/stephen-stills-tackles-the-blues-with-the-rides-album-premiere/) a Pandora premiere sponsored by T-Mobile (http://www.pandora.com/station/play/1575027322562476668) and prior song premieres on The Huffington Post, Rolling Stone and Grammy.com. The Best Buy exclusive deluxe CD/DVD version of "Can't Get Enough" which includes bonus tracks and videos is available for purchase beginning at all Best Buy Locations beginning at 10am today. The first 300 to purchase the CD will get to meet The Rides at 1pm that day and have their CD signed. A pair of tickets to their NYC concert at the Iridium that week will be given away at the signing.

The multi-generational outfit's debut album, "Can't Get Enough", is set for CD, digital, and vinyl release August 27 on 429 Records. Featuring four co-written originals, a handful of covers, and a vintage, previously unrecorded Stills gem, "Can't Get Enough" was inspired by--and is an homage to--the now-classic 1968 album Super Session, which featured Stills on guitar on one side, and the late Mike Bloomfield on the other (Bloomfield had founded Electric Flag with Goldberg, who also played on Super Session, as did Blood, Sweat & Tears keyboardist Al Kooper). The Rides will embark on a world tour beginning in September (dates below).
429 Records is a unit of The Savoy Label Group (SLG). SLG is the North American based division of Nippon Columbia the oldest music company in Japan. The Savoy Label Group has evolved into a Grammy Award winning and chart topping independent music company consistently outperforming competitors in key music categories as monitored by Billboard Magazine. The Savoy Label Group is led by Steve Vining and is based in Los Angeles, CA.
