BERWYN, Pa., Sept. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The NCHERM Group, LLC is partnering with Accredible to add digital badging to its ability to recognize and honor the 12,500 education-sector professionals who have sought certification training through The NCHERM Group and its affiliated organizations, ATIXA and NaBITA, since 2012.
Digital badges are an increasingly popular tool for employees to denote their achievements, illustrate skill accumulation, and convey professional competence and excellence. A digital badge is an indicator of accomplishment or skill that can be displayed, accessed, and verified online. The badge includes information on who earned the badge, what the badge represents, how it was earned, when it was earned, and who issued it. Digital credentials allow employees to present a rich and trustworthy record of their professional development, easily shared on social platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook, as well as inclusion in email signatures.
Clients of The NCHERM Group, members of Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) and National Behavioral Intervention Team Association (NaBITA), will now be able to expand their current options for verifying certification in a more public, visual, digital, and social form, displaying badges for each certification so that colleagues, students, and potential employers can recognize your training and professional development.
The NCHERM Group, ATIXA, and NaBITA have now certified more than 12,500 professionals and that number continues to grow by thousands each year. Currently certified individuals will automatically receive any and all badges for which they qualify. No action is required on their part! For those looking to join the organizations for future certification courses, you too can now benefit from all that digital badges have to offer. Just as with the Continuing Certification Credit program implemented in 2012 to allow you to maintain certification online, attendees will receive notification following completion of an event on how to access both their certificate and their badge.
Brett A. Sokolow, Esq., President & CEO of The NCHERM Group stated:
"Accredible makes it possible for The NCHERM Group to deliver digital, portable badges to our certification trainees. Attendees put a lot of time and energy into our trainings, and we want to reward them with something tangible to show for it. A certificate on a wall is great, but badging is next-level recognition. ATIXA, NaBITA, and TNG certifications are commonly listed as preferred or required qualifications for job postings in the education field, and we understand how imperative it is to showcase your commitment to professional development and learning with us."
Danny King, CEO of Accredible added:
"We're very excited to be entrusted by The NCHERM Group to help issue their digital credentials. We strongly believe in their mission to help bring safety to school and college campuses all across America. Education should be a fundamental right and all should be guaranteed a safe environment, which is why we couldn't be more proud to have been chosen as the credentialing partner for these projects."
