The Marketing Arm Taps Eric Holmen to Lead Business Development and Marketing for Wireless Practice
LOS ANGELES, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marketing Arm, an idea company that harnesses the power of emotion to make brands more engaging, has named Eric Holmen Senior Vice President for Business Development and Marketing for the agency's wireless marketing practice area.
Holmen, who will be based in the agency's Los Angeles offices, will develop and lead business development initiatives that drive growth for The Marketing Arm's wireless marketing division. In addition, he'll be responsible for directing marketing strategy for the division, focusing on competitive marketing initiatives and brand positioning.
Prior to joining The Marketing Arm, Holmen served for three years as president of SmartReply, a privately-held company based in Irvine, Calif., which designs telephone and email marketing programs for retailers. In his first year as president, Holmen expanded SmartReply's offerings to include mobile marketing, which led to the acquisition of mSnap and drove the industry's first retail mobile payment solution.
Prior to being named president, Holmen was SmartReply's executive vice president for operations and strategy, overseeing client service, creative, production, and technology.
