LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Knot, the nation's leading wedding resource, will bring top bridal designers and salon buyers together this weekend for the first-ever Los Angeles–based bridal fashion trade show, Couture LA. This trade-only event will run from Sunday, August 24, to Monday, August 25, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. P.T. at the famed Siren Studios on Sunset Boulevard.

Launches at Couture LA include reality TV star Desiree Hartsock's collection for Maggie Sottero and Allure Bridals's Madison James collection. Couture LA will feature designers Pronovias, Rosa Clara, Kenneth Winston, Essense of Australia, Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner, Allure Bridals, Jasmine Bridals, Maggie Sottero, Paloma Blanca, Sincerity Bridal/Justin Alexander, Mon Cheri and Sottero & Midgley, among others. The showings will be held in a hip exhibit space—a 30,000-square-foot Hollywood soundstage. Designers, buyers, stylists, media and industry leaders will view collections, make selections and kick off the fall wedding fashion buying season.
