The Guild of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles Presents Accessories for Success Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show
LOS ANGELES, March 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Guild of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles presents its annual Accessories for Success Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show featuring Lloyd Klein luxurious couture and ready-to-wear clothing, Friday, March 25, 2011 at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Honorees include Nina Shaw, Partner at Del, Shaw, Moonves, Tanaka, Finkelstein & Lezcano, Excellence in Mentoring Award; NancyJane Goldston, Founder and Editor-in-Chief, The Blonde & The Brunette and Founder and CEO, The UXB, the Innovator Award; and BBBSLA Board Chair Nancy Taylor, the Sterling Award. Guild members Anja Kloch, Anne Lepesant, Teri Simpson and Mary Willard are Luncheon Co-Chairs.
Joining couturier Lloyd Klein in the fashion presentation, produced by "The U-ee Organization...Showing Who In the World is Changing It," are Dana Davis Shoes, Michael Hasse Hair Design, Charles Bracca for Sisely Cosmetics, Glynneth B. Jewelry and Ford models.
Prior to the luncheon, an Accessories Boutique will feature a fashionable array of select vendors donating a portion of proceeds from their sales to BBBSLA. The Guild was founded in 1986 and is dedicated to promoting awareness and raising financial support for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles. A volunteer group comprised of prominent women from the community, The Guild has raised over $8 million to support the one-to-one mentoring programs of Big Brothers Big Sisters. In addition to the Accessories for Success Spring Luncheon, The Guild hosts its primary fundraising event, The Big Bash, Rising Stars Gala, which will be held this year on October 28th.
