CHICAGO, Feb. 20, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Groomsman Suit (TGS) today announced a partnership with television production company Thinkfactory Media, in which TGS will help make eight deserving couples' dream weddings come true, outfitting the groomsmen appearing on Lifetime's My Great Big Live Wedding with David Tutera -- airing Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET.
The Groomsman Suit is the first e-commerce company offering stylish, high-quality suits and tuxedos men can own for less than the cost of a rental. The core line is available in two styles and seven colors for $194, and the newly launched matching Kids Collection costs $94.
The series premiere of My Great Big Live Wedding, which aired on Feb. 5, saw a Navy veteran, who lost a leg serving in Afghanistan, marry his wife who is a firefighter at one of the nation's busiest stations in Los Angeles. (In this episode, the groom wore a David Tutera custom-made suit)
"We are thrilled to partner with Thinkfactory and to contribute to making dream weddings for eight very deserving couples, said Diana Ganz, TGS Co-Founder. "The show's premise aligns with our core mission to make weddings less stressful. Our goal is to make groomsmen look like a million bucks for under $200. The best part is they don't have to rush to return the tuxedo the next day, they get to keep it."
About The Groomsman Suit
TGS was co-founded by lifelong friends Jeanne Foley and Diana Ganz after Jeanne's personal experience planning her own wedding. With no other options to affordably outfit their groomsmen, she and her husband were forced to go the rental route only to be disappointed by the logistics, poor fit, and price. Jeanne's fashion industry experience combined with Diana's award-winning business background has proved to be a perfect fit.
Since launching out of their New York City apartment in 2016, the rapidly growing startup generated $2.5 million in sales in 2018, is projecting $8 million in sales in 2019, and is now headquartered out of a 2,200 square foot showroom in Chicago. TGS won the Wedding Wire's Couple's Choice Awards in 2017 and 2018 and was recognized as one of Total Retails Game Changers in 2018.
About My Great Big Live Wedding
