The Communication Center Offers Confident Communication Course For Women In The Workplace

WASHINGTON, Nov. 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Communication Center (TCC), a premier executive training firm located in Washington, D.C, is offering a business communication course created especially for women who aspire to executive leadership.

Confident Communication for Women is a three-hour interactive course designed for women and taught by women who are communication experts. Due to the high demand for this course, TCC is offering two opportunities to attend - Tuesday, December 8^th and Thursday, December 17^th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The training and networking session will be held at The Communication Center's training facility and studio in downtown Washington, D.C.

During the course, participants will have multiple opportunities to practice communicating in a group exercise format that includes workplace scenarios such as meetings, performance reviews, public speaking, and impromptu conversations. Additionally, several volunteers will have the opportunity to deliver in front of the camera followed by a professional critique of the recording.

The Confident Communication for Women course will help women:

• Learn body language, speech pacing, and eye contact skills to maximize effectiveness and assertiveness
• Identify personal obstacles in their communication skills and the subtle messages from others that can make or break your professional presence
• Achieve influence through artful conversation and positive persuasion, while still knowing when to say no
• Develop expertise as a strong communicator who is comfortable using direct language in accepting and giving both compliments and critiques.
