The CHR Group Acquires Raker Goldstein as It Adds Full-Service Public Relations to the Holding Company's Client Offerings
NEW YORK, March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The CHR Group, a New York City-based integrated marketing services holding company, announces that it has acquired Raker Goldstein & Co. The six-person public relations firm, led by Managing Directors Heidi Raker and Stuart Goldstein, will maintain their brand and operate from The CHR Group's corporate headquarters in New York City. The Raker Goldstein deal will represent The CHR Group's tenth acquisition since the holding company's founding in 2012.
With experience on brands such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, National Golf Foundation, Expedia, Royal Caribbean, Merck, Herman Miller, Whole Foods Market, SCOR Golf, The Steakhouse, Health Decisions, Morton's, and Nielsen, Raker Goldstein will make an excellent addition to The CHR family. The boutique agency has also earned a strong reputation as an incubator for start-up companies looking for expertise in business development and brand leveraging.
"Building credibility and leveraging brands through positive news media exposure, strategic consulting and smart alliance development has been central to our growth as an agency and our ability to consistently generate measurable results," said founder Heidi Raker, a 30-year industry veteran. "We are strategic advisors and content providers who nimbly manage client marketing goals while being sensitive to the ever-changing needs and formats of the news media and our culture."
"Joining The CHR Group gives RG the advantage of offering its clients the diverse talents and expertise of multiple marketing genres, from experiential marketing, media buying, data analytics, advertising, digital marketing and branding to web design and social networking, creating a robust collection of best-of-breed boutiques for a stellar one-stop shopping marketing experience," added Stuart Goldstein. "We are excited to be a part of The CHR Group and admire the business model and culture the organization has created in Canada and the US."
"We are proud to lead The CHR Group's public relations arm and continue our mandate to create intimate, successful client relationships that enable us to guide our business partners in their quest for reaching their growth, sales and profit targets," continued Raker.
"It is hard finding PR firms that perform in a linear style, streamlining actions to deliver results, particularly in the area of earned media," says Jonathan Zaback, Chief Strategy Officer and Partner with The CHR Group. "We are thrilled to have Raker Goldstein as our flagship PR agency. This acquisition will be the first of multiple PR agencies we will bring into our corporate family that will complement each other in critical industry sectors."
