The Chicago School Of Professional Psychology's Ed.S. In School Psychology Program Earns The National Association Of School Psychologist's Highest Accreditation, Approval-Full

CHICAGO, Aug. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Chicago School of Professional Psychology today announced that its Ed.S. in School Psychology Program, has attained approval-full accreditation from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), a recognition of the program's demonstrated consistency with NASP standards. Giving further evidence of the program's efficacy, every student in its 2015 graduating class passed both the Illinois State and national licensure exams. The Chicago School is a nonprofit university, and one of the leading institutions devoted to psychology, and related behavioral and health sciences.

The Chicago School's program's accreditation begins in January 2016 and will be in effect for seven years, the maximum period granted by NASP. Students who graduate from the program are automatically eligible to be Nationally Certified School Psychologists, a designation that allows them to be licensed school psychologists in most states. The program will also be nationally recognized and listed on the NASP website as an approved program.

Offered at the institution's Chicago Campus, the Ed.S. in School Psychology program is based on an integrative-systemic model aimed at enhancing the educational experience for diverse youth populations.
