The Ad Club Of New York To Kick Off 10th Annual Advertising Week Honors Luncheon
Featuring a Special Discussion With Fast Company, R/GA and Clear Channel; Mario Batali and Katherine Oliver To Be Honored as 2013 Stars of Madison Avenue
NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The ADVERTISING Club of New York, the industry's leading organization representing the vision and mission of the global advertising community across crafts, along with Advertising Week, will be co-hosting a luncheon to kick off the 10th annual premier gathering of marketing and communications leaders on Monday, September 23rd.
Sponsored by Fast Company, Clear Channel Media + Entertainment and LinkedIn, the luncheon will feature a special conversation about the last decade of advertising and where the industry is headed in the next 10 years. Fast Company Editor and Managing Director Bob Safian will host the discussion with industry leaders Bob Greenberg, Founder, Chairman and CEO of R/GA, and Bob Pittman, Chairman and CEO of Clear Channel.
In honor of its 10th anniversary, Advertising Week is launching a new book, titled "Last Ten/Next Ten," which will feature a compilation of essays and reflections from luminaries and leaders across the advertising, marketing and media industries, on where the industry has been and where it is headed. A number of the essayists will be in attendance at the luncheon.

In addition, The AD Club will present its 10th annual Stars of Madison Avenue Awards to Mario Batali, Chef, Entrepreneur & Founder of The Mario Batali Foundation, and Katherine Oliver, Commissioner of the New York City Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment, for their outstanding contributions to the advertising industry and philanthropy in New York City. Actress and philanthropist Isabella Rossellini and George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company, will present the awards to Batali and Oliver during the luncheon.
