Texas A&M University and the 12th Man Foundation Extend Ticketing Partnership with Veritix®
Company to Provide Primary and Secondary Ticketing Services for Texas A&M
CLEVELAND, Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas A&M University and the 12th Man Foundation today announced they have expanded their ticketing partnership with Veritix®. Veritix will continue to provide primary ticketing services for all university sport venues and begin offering paperless ticketing services through its Flash Seats® product. This multi-year agreement is in place, and the new services are already available for donors.
Veritix currently handles all ticketing services for Texas A&M University athletics, providing online renewals, a reliable and flexible platform to handle complex ticket operations, and integration with the university's systems. The Veritix technology platform gives Texas A&M University the ability to unify all its ticketing operations in one place, letting them provide better service and offerings to season ticket holders, fans, and donors. This made it a natural move to take advantage of Flash Seats as another benefit for season ticket holders and Aggies fans.
"Veritix has been a long-time partner of the Texas A&M University 12th Man Foundation, and we are thrilled to expand our ticket offerings with Flash Seats," said Miles Marks, President and CEO of the 12th Man Foundation. "Much like the airline industry's move to electronic ticketing, Flash Seats will provide a new level of flexibility and convenience that our fans will love. We know that Veritix will continue to provide the outstanding technology our fans expect in both the sale and resale marketplaces."
The addition of Flash Seats gives Texas A&M an end-to-end ticketing platform that will give fans a seamless experience. Through Flash Seats, Aggies fans will be able to buy, sell, and transfer paperless tickets through the Official Texas A&M Secondary Marketplace at aggies.flashseats.com. As part of the agreement, Flash Seats will be offered for most university sports, starting with football in the fall, which marks the inaugural season of Texas A&M University in the SEC.
"This is such an exciting time for Texas A&M, and we are committed to providing the best ticketing experience possible to all our Aggies fans in both the initial sale and resale markets," said Carole Dollins, Senior Vice President & Division Manager – Ticketing, 12th Man Foundation. "The Veritix platform will allow us to give our fans the features and benefits they expect."
For Veritix, the opportunity to expand the relationship with a world-class institution like Texas A&M University solidifies one of their most important partnerships. "Texas A&M is one of the premier educational institutions in the country and the world, and we are excited to have the opportunity to help them grow their ticketing operations," said Guy Villa, Vice President, Sales, Veritix. "We look forward to continuing this valuable partnership for many years to come."
