TD Charitable Foundation Donates $1.5 Million to United Way

CHERRY HILL, N.J. and PORTLAND, Maine, Nov. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, announced today it has donated $1.5 million to the United Way to kick off TD Bank's annual employee giving campaign.

The donation is being distributed to 135 local United Way chapters within TD Bank's footprint from Maine to Florida. In addition, the 2011 TD Bank Employee Giving Campaign will raise funds on behalf of United Way chapters beginning November 14 and continuing through December 2, 2011.
