CHICAGO, April 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of its commitment to provide best-in-class education to its System-wide student community, on April 4th TCS Education System appointed Beth Aguiar to the newly developed role of Associate Vice President of Digital Teaching and Learning. Under the direction of Chief Academic Officer Eileen Heveron, Aguiar will work collaboratively with the academic administrators and faculty leadership teams of all five System colleges and universities. As part of this collaboration she will provide training and coaching in the design, development, and evaluation of face-to-face, online, and hybrid delivery digital teaching and learning methodologies.

Having held various higher education leadership positions, Aguiar brings a robust awareness of hybrid curriculum development and digital instructional materials to TCS. Her past experience includes engagements with Bridgepoint, EdMap, Apollo Group, and The University of Phoenix. She most recently served as Interim CEO and the Head of Product at Significant Technology, LLC - a San Diego-based educational software company focused on adaptive student learning. Beth earned her master's degree from The George Washington University and her bachelor's from Bowling Green State University, with some post-graduate coursework in organizational behavior from Union Institute & University.
