LOS ANGELES, March 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TBWA\Chiat\Day LA today announced it has been named global creative agency of record for IMAX Corporation, a leader in delivering the world's most immersive entertainment experiences, bringing together two groundbreaking pioneers within the creative community.
The appointment of TBWA\Chiat\Day LA comes after a three-week competitive pitch process in which the agency demonstrated a strong understanding of IMAX's legacy, forward-thinking positioning and assessment of untapped opportunities within the entertainment industry. The synergy between TBWA\Chiat\Day LA and IMAX is rooted in years of innovation in which each company has disrupted their perspective industries and set a new standard for creative excellence. In fact, both agencies are celebrating their 50th anniversaries this year, a historic landmark within two ever-evolving industries.
