NEW YORK, June 5, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Pastor Joel and Victoria Osteen are returning to New York City's historic Yankee Stadium Saturday, June 7th, for America's Night of Hope, and Trinity Broadcasting Network, the world's largest religious broadcaster and America's most-watched faith channel, will be on hand as the event's official broadcast partner.
A New York Times best-selling author, longtime TBN ministry partner, and pastor of the 52,000-strong Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, Joel Osteen and wife Victoria hosted the first America's Night of Hope in New York City in 2009, filling the brand new 51,000-seat Yankee Stadium in the venue's first non-baseball event. Since then America's Night of Hope has become a highly anticipated annual gathering in cities across America, combining dynamic worship and special music, impacting testimonies, and an inspiring message from one of America's most esteemed pastors and inspirational speakers.
"TBN has had the privilege over the past several years of partnering with Pastor Joel and Victoria Osteen to broadcast America's Night of Hope to millions of viewers," said TBN CEO Matthew Crouch. "From the music and testimonies to the timely message from Pastor Joel, this is an event that is impacting America and the world with hope and expectation."
In addition to an encouraging word form Victoria Osteen and Pastor Joel's inspirational message, this year's Night of Hope will feature music and worship from Grammy Award-winning recording artist Israel Houghton, along with Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff and Lakewood Church's worship team.
Also on hand will be Pastor Joel's mother, author and inspirational speaker Dodie Osteen, who will share a dramatic testimony about her miraculous healing from cancer.
"Victoria and I are excited to be back in New York City, and we're happy to be partnering with TBN to broadcast this life-changing Night of Hope," said Pastor Joel. "I know that those with us at Yankee Stadium, as well as viewers joining us by television and online, are going to be encouraged and inspired to expect great things from God in the days to come."
Mr. Crouch noted that Joel Osteen's ministry is consistently one of the top rated programs on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, and has helped to make TBN America's most-watched faith network. "Pastor Joel has been called the voice of hope and faith for a new generation of believers," he said. "We're thrilled once again to share this historic Night of Hope from Yankee Stadium with TBN's vast audience across America and around the world."
America's Night of Hope will be taped live June 7th at New York City's Yankee Stadium, and broadcast on TBN Sunday, June 8th, at 7 p.m. Pacific Time (9 p.m. Central, 10 p.m. Eastern).
