Tara Chand, CEO of IPG Inc., Writes to President Trump: U.S. Cyber Attacks, Including Equifax and OPM, Happened Due to a Culture of Stupidity-That Also Let 9/11 Happen
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Mr. Chand, a prolific and visionary inventor, developed innovative cyber security defense solutions, that had they been deployed, would have made breaches like Equifax and the government's OPM impossible.
Mr. Chand contacted tech industry titans, including Oracle and IBM, to discuss launching new cyber security solutions. However he was ignored, due to a widely prevalent culture of stupidity–the same culture of stupidity that led to the FBI ignoring warnings from their own agents–that remains widely prevalent today among large corporations and government agencies.
A notable example further illustrating the government's prevalent culture of stupidity, Mr. Chand personally wrote to NSA leadership offering to license a novel encryption technology for government use, that would not only make encryption impossible to breach by any means–but also save billions in costs; Mr. Chand never received a response from NSA leadership.
One of Mr. Chand's cyber security technologies had been specifically developed for protecting Personally Identifiable (PI) data stored in databases throughout the country–such as Equifax and the government's OPM databases. This PI technology would process and store PI data separately from other data anchored by the PI using an aliasing engine. The aliasing engine aliases real PI data and creates fake PI data using a random heuristic process that is stored in the databases.
Another of Mr. Chand's cyber defense technologies is a 'quad-factor remote user authentication' technology that makes cyber break-ins, by stealing user's personal stored credentials (one of the easiest hacks for hackers), fundamentally impossible.
Mr. Chand would welcome an opportunity to brief select members of congress and Whitehouse personnel, to further explain what his cyber defense technologies do and how they work, so that his suite of cyber defense technologies could be deployed to greatly enhance the cyber security defense posture of the US–including protection of its critical infrastructure.
IPG is a pre-IPO enterprise, and a unique enterprise in many ways, including being a first ever U.S. technology conglomerate; Tara Chand is the Founder, Chairman & CEO of Internet Promise Group (IPG); a prolific and visionary inventor, with over 50 patents, plus 100 patent-pending submissions.
