A black-tie reception and dinner, the Shopper Marketing Celebration begins with a presentation of the 2014 Shopper Marketing Hall of Fame class, an honor bestowed upon three deserving individuals chosen by the editors of Shopper Marketing magazine. Erik Keptner, executive vice president, marketing at Ahold, Inc., a Symphony EYC customer, is among this year's inductees. Keptner's achievements are showcased in the February issue of Shopper Marketing Magazine.
Following the Hall of Fame ceremony, Effie Worldwide, in partnership with the Path to Purchase Institute, will present the winners of the 2014 Shopper Marketing Effie Awards. The prestigious Shopper Marketing Effies are given to integrated campaigns that best demonstrate how they effectively solve the shopper marketing challenge, connect with the shopper, influence her along the path to purchase and inspire her to become a buyer.
