The NOC provides immediate response and resolution to alarms through remote system monitoring; returning TransLogic Systems to normal operations and minimizing the impact on facility support personnel. The Swisslog NOC technical support team provides escalation to healthcare facility first responders within minutes where intervention is required. In addition, facilities will receive monthly reports on system uptime, alarms, response times and corrective actions to support high performance and active system management.
"The Network Operations Center is the first of its kind in terms of continuous remote monitoring and technical support capability for hospital material transport," says Technical Product Manager Hilton Campbell. "The NOC represents one component of the more comprehensive and integrated customer service options from Swisslog."
Designed to handle automated material transport needs in hospitals, the TransLogic PTS delivers patient-critical items quickly and reliably to reduce wait times and manual labor. Through scalable support options, Swisslog offers an a la carte menu of services to its more than 3,000 North American PTS customers. Swisslog is able to provide everything from replacement parts to technical support, including continuous call center service and a full-service preventive maintenance program, offering service programs custom-tailored to meet the unique requirements and budget of any facility.
"All Swisslog field technicians go through a robust training and certification program. We have invested in support and service so we can guarantee system performance," says Cory Kwarta, Senior Vice President of Operations. "I'm excited to show ASHE attendees how Swisslog support and service is best in the business.″
