Contest Entry Opens Today as SVEDKA Vodka Seeks to Find How Far The Top Five Bartenders Will Go To Ice Out the Competition
SAN FRANCISCO, June 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/-- SVEDKA Vodka is seeking to crown the best of the nation's "power-mixers" at the first annual SVEDKA SHAKEDOWN on Monday, August 11th. Taking place in Miami, this event will put five of the nation's best bartenders against one another for their chance to win $5,000 and deserve the unlimited bragging rights of The SVEDKA SHAKEDOWN winner. Contestants will compete against each other in three fast-paced rounds of inimitable mixology challenges, where they will face impossible ingredients, challenging mixing conditions and ruthless eliminations.
Choosing from the top bartenders, a panel of four notable judges will hand select the five participants based on their bartending background, personal characteristics that they believe make them a qualified contestant, and a submission of an original recipe using SVEDKA Vodka. This one-night-only event will then put the five chosen contestants up against each other to mix up the most original libation under pressure, in order to be crowned The SVEDKA SHAKEDOWN winner.
