MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Suttle, a Communications Systems, Inc. company (NASDAQ-GM: JCS), announces the CAT6A rated data jack for the MediaMAX home networking system. The CAT6A Jack delivers up to 10 Gigabit speeds and maximum bandwidth performance for the most demanding over-the-top applications (OTT).
Backed by a century of designing and manufacturing high-quality connectivity solutions—currently in 67 percent of US homes—Suttle created the MediaMAX 10 Gig CAT6A data jack for the ultimate home network.
According to Bruce Blackwood, Suttle President and General Manager, "This jack is part of the suite of Suttle products designed to deliver the connected home experience desired by so many homeowners. As ultra high-definition TVs and extreme gamer applications become more common, homeowners are looking for a robust network to deliver these new technologies."
Sev Sadura, Suttle Director of Product Management adds that "The MediaMAX CAT6A jack provides 10 Gig low latency Ethernet connectivity to improve gaming experience and handle 4K and 8K video without freezing or buffering. The CAT6A Jack is tested at the component level." Sadura explains that "Technicians terminate CAT6A jacks in a mounting rack inside the media panel and another at the wall access point to create an environment for the super user, bandwidth-hungry, low-latency OTT applications. The CAT6A jack is compatible with Suttle's SpeedStar™ faceplates."
The new MediaMAX CAT6A jack and module as part of the Securely Conencted offering will be available at the following events:
- CEDIA, San Diego, CA, Sept. 4-8
- NECA, Philadelphia, PA, Sept. 29-Oct. 2
