Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP Announces Tom Claps in New Role as Litigation Desk Analyst
NEW YORK, May 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG), the institutional broker-dealer member of the Susquehanna International Group of Companies (SIG), announced today that Tom Claps will take on the newly established role of Litigation Desk Analyst reporting directly to John Larkin, the Head of SFG's Event Driven/ Special Situations Team. Tom is a 17 year legal veteran who spent 13 years as a litigator in Skadden Arps' New York office prior to joining SFG in June 2011.
"Tom will provide detailed analysis of litigations and legal events impacting the investment world, including company exposures and isolating key catalyst and timing events during the course of a litigation," said Art Oswald, SFG's Head of Research Sales. In addition, Tom will also provide "real time" docket review and analysis, and will travel to trials and court hearings to provide "on-the-ground" legal insights.
