Susquehanna Financial Group Hires David Hilder as Senior Analyst to Cover Large Cap Banks
NEW YORK, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG), the institutional broker-dealer member of the Susquehanna International Group of Companies (SIG), announced today its hiring of David Hilder as the Senior Analyst covering Large Cap Banks. The hiring expands SFG's coverage of the Financial Services sector. Mr. Hilder will join SFG's Financial Services team – which currently consists of Jonathan Casteleyn (Financial Institutions), Jamie Friedman (Financial Technologies), and Jack Micenko (Mid-Cap Banks and Homebuilders). Mr. Hilder, whose coverage will include names like Citibank, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo, will be based out of SFG's New York office.

Mr. Hilder has earned many industry accolades over his career, including being ranked #1 out of 93 bank analysts by StarMine in 2008 for stock rating performance. StarMine also ranked Mr. Hilder #6 among all analysts across all industries in 2007.
Prior to joining SFG, Mr. Hilder spent almost two years as a senior vice president at Putnam Investments. While at Putnam, he was responsible for covering commercial banks, investment banks and trust banks, as well as leading a team of senior analysts covering financial stocks in U.S. large-cap equities. Before joining Putnam, Mr. Hilder spent 7 years as a managing director at Bear, Stearns & Co., where he followed 15 large-cap banks and reviewed all global financial sector initiations as part of the Analyst Oversight Committee. Earlier, Mr. Hilder was a principal at Morgan Stanley & Co for 7 years, most recently covering 30 bank stocks ranging in capitalization from $250 million to $2 billion. Mr. Hilder started his Wall Street career as a vice president for CS First Boston Corporation, where he followed credit card, consumer finance, brokerage, thrift and REIT stocks. Before starting his Wall Street career, Mr. Hilder spent more than a decade working as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal and The Atlanta Journal and Constitution. Mr. Hilder is a graduate of Harvard College.
