Freeman has joined Summer Street as a Healthcare Advisory Partner. Freeman, the former managing director and head of Healthcare Services Investment Banking at Lazard Middle Market, LLC, has over fifteen years experience leading healthcare M&A transactions and advising business owners on healthcare strategy. Over the course of his career, he has successfully completed over 50 transactions representing more than $4.5 billion in enterprise value. With a reputation as an innovative middle market deal maker, Mr. Freeman has wide ranging transaction experience representing payers, managed care services, home healthcare, alternate site providers, technology enabled service companies, healthcare distribution companies, and a wide array of outsourced service companies in the healthcare system. Freeman earned a Master of Business Administration with High Honors from Chicago Booth, University of Chicago and his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
