STX Entertainment Fills Key Marketing Positions With Respected Veterans Terry Curtin, Keri Moore, Amy Elkins And Andrew Runyon
BURBANK, Calif., April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- STX Entertainment has assembled a team of highly respected and versatile marketing executives as the studio ramps up production and targets its inaugural release The Gift, coming to theaters on July 31, 2015, it was jointly announced by Oren Aviv, President and Chief Content Officer of the STX Entertainment Motion Picture Group, and Jack Pan, President of Theatrical Marketing for STX Entertainment.
The team includes veteran marketing and strategic communications expert Terry Curtin, creative advertising and branding leader Keri Moore, media and marketing innovation executive Amy Elkins, and global digital marketing visionary Andrew Runyon. Under the direction of Jack Pan, the marketing team is specially designed and positioned to craft fresh, integrated, cross-platform campaigns that marry foundational marketing strengths with an exceptional ability to transform paradigms through a keen understanding of shifting consumer behavior, strategic thinking and new technology.

Leading Strategic Marketing and Global Communications for STX Entertainment is studio veteran Terry Curtin, who, during her accomplished career has held key marketing and communications positions at several major Hollywood entertainment companies, including Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Disney, Revolution Studios, and
MGM/UA. Curtin, who most recently held the post of President of Theatrical Marketing for Relativity Media, also ran two prominent creative advertising agencies, specializing in strategic marketing, branding and feature film campaigns. Curtin's extensive experience crosses a wide range of disciplines - from PR to creative and digital, and over the years she has worked on numerous successful campaigns including Act of Valor, Don Jon, Safe Haven, American Gangster, Monsters vs. Aliens, A Beautiful Mind, Anger Management, Fast and Furious, American Pie, Made in Manhattan, xXx, The Rock, Die Hard, Mulan, A Bug's Life, Armageddon, Ransom, Leaving Las Vegas, Get Shorty, and Goldeneye, among many others.
Keri Moore joins STX Entertainment overseeing Creative Advertising and Brand Development for the studio. One of the most respected advertising executives working in the industry today, Keri previously held senior creative positions at major studios including Warner Bros. and Universal Pictures in addition to working at premiere creative advertising agencies such as Aspect Ratio and Open Road. Moore is highly versatile with a strong creative range that crosses a number of film genres including action, family, animation, comedy, musical and drama. As a studio executive, she created award-winning and memorable trailers and broadcast, digital and print creative campaigns for many hit films including Sherlock Holmes, The Academy Award nominated Seabiscuit, the global sensation Mamma Mia, Role Models, Valentine's Day, The Incredible Hulk, White Noise, American Wedding, Baby Mama and countless others. Moore most notably spearheaded the distinctive, breakthrough campaigns for the first three blockbusters in the highly successful Bourne franchise: The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.
Running Media and Marketing Innovation for STX Entertainment is Amy Elkins who has built her successful reputation around a unique combination of studio, media agency and entrepreneurial experience. Elkins comes with an impressive digital marketing and innovation expertise. Most recently she served as Managing Partner of Mindshare, a global media planning and buying agency, where she led the digital business for Lionsgate, overseeing such highly memorable campaigns as Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and Divergent. Elkins previously ran digital media planning and buying at MEC on behalf of Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Animation handling such box office successes as Transformers 4, Super 8, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Paranormal Activity 3, and Madagascar 3 among others. Elkins gained her studio experience during an 11-year tenure as Senior Vice President of Theatrical Marketing at MGM/UA. During her time at the company, she was integral to managing brand marketing strategy, promotions and interactive for a wide range of films including Rocky Balboa, Valkyrie, the James Bond, Legally Blonde, Barbershop, and The Pink Panther movie franchises, among many others.
Andrew Runyon joins STX Entertainment spearheading Worldwide Digital Marketing & Technology. Runyon is a highly creative interactive executive and an innovative marketer. He has lead award-winning digital campaigns for top-tier entertainment brands, built off of strong partnerships between Hollywood and the tech community. He most recently served as Vice President of International Digital Marketing at Paramount Pictures, helping establish the studio's Los Angeles-based international operations. There, he was responsible for global online campaigns, working with a staff around the world to spearhead digital strategy social media, creative, content, publicity, CRM, mobile , and media partnerships. He previously worked at the Walt Disney Studios as Director of Interactive Marketing. Throughout his career he has worked on numerous successful campaigns, including Transformers 4: Age of Extinction, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, The Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, and Tron: Legacy, among many others.
