StumbleUpon Hires Melinda Chung, Product Marketing Manager, and Katie Gray, Marketing Communications Manager
Marketing Team Expands with Talent from Top Bay Area Companies
SAN FRANCISCO, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- StumbleUpon, the personalized recommendation engine, today announced the expansion of its marketing and communications team with the hiring of Melinda Chung, Product Marketing Manager, and Katie Gray, Marketing Communications Manager. They will both focus on further growing the external communications and customer base of the company.

Chung brings eight years of marketing experience to her new role at StumbleUpon, where she will work closely with the product and marketing teams around product marketing strategy and messaging and contribute to the development of a successful sales strategy around StumbleUpon's products.
In her most recent position as the Senior Product Marketing Manager at Yahoo!, Chung led product marketing initiatives collaborating with product management, design, engineering, consumer insights and data analytics teams. Chung also held previous positions with Live Search (now Bing) and QuinStreet, a performance marketing company.
In Gray's new role at StumbleUpon, she will develop strategic communication priorities and programs and also work with the product development and engineering teams to improve the StumbleUpon user experience. She joins StumbleUpon from Google, where she worked in AdWords driving strategic marketing and analytics programs for advertisers.
Chung received her B.A. in Economics from Pomona College and an M.B.A. at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. Gray graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in English.
