STA Unveils its Ticket System for SAP
New SAP add-on that simplifies and boosts error reporting

This tool – called STA Ticket System – allows end-users and business analysts to report program errors directly in SAP. The product also includes several useful features to provide detailed and accurate bug reports. The program is highly customizable and can easily be integrated with third party ticketing systems.

STA Ticket System addresses all of these problems at once by providing all relevant information automatically and in a user friendly manner.
The most apparent feature of the tool is that it is integrated right into SAP, so users do not need to start a new program to record a bug report. The program can be started from the System menu right from the problematic program. The program then fills a lot of the ticket information automatically – like system name, user name, logon language, program name, screen number etc. Tickets will never be missing any important information or have typos.
The user has the option to include extra information for developers with a few clicks:

- call stack
- last short dump (if exists)
- last authorization check (SU53)

- shortcut to relevant SAP transaction
The distribution of error reports is highly customizable and flexible. Bug reports can be sent by email to distribution lists using SAP Office or can be sent to third party issue tracking systems using a customer Function Module.
