The award went to the promotional landing pages created to introduce SouthernLINC's new 3G/Nationwide services and the Motorola XT626.

The pages were judged on seven criteria, including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copy writing and ease of use. Additionally, pages were judged against other entries in the telecom industry category and then against an overall standard of excellence.
SouthernLINC Wireless worked with Red Clay Interactive of Buford, Georgia to build the promotional pages. Red Clay Interactive has been developing web marketing campaigns for SouthernLINC Wireless for more than seven years. This collaboration has been recognized in prior years with other web marketing awards.
The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web. The organization produces the annual WebAward Competition. Now in its 17th year, the program is the longest running website award competition dedicated to naming the best web sites in 96 industries.
