Southern Tide Becomes The Official Style Sponsor Of The RBC Heritage
Lifestyle brand to outfit the Palmetto State's only PGA TOUR tournament
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C., Oct. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Heritage Classic Foundation is pleased to announce that Southern Tide, the premier coastal lifestyle and apparel brand, has signed a multi-year agreement as the "Official Style" sponsor of the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. This is a notable partnership for RBC Heritage, as this is the first time the Heritage Classic Foundation has partnered with a lifestyle apparel brand.
The partnership will kick off efforts in 2018 leading up to and beyond the PGA TOUR golf tournament April 15-21, 2019. Southern Tide will be partnering with the tournament in their signature southern way. Expect to see the "Southern Tide Experience" on the Heritage Lawn, for all patrons – complete with complimentary swag and much more during the April event. Advertising and participation in the Pro Am shopping spree is also included in the partnership. RBC Heritage staff will be outfitted in items from Southern Tide's T3 golf collection. The T3 collection is a Southern Tide staple, beloved by players and customers. Southern Tide will be weaving the partnership within premium retail partners and product development looking into 2019.
During the tournament, RBC Heritage volunteers will sport some of the latest performance offerings from Southern Tide, including the new Jack and Jackee Performance Polos. The brand is also rolling out a custom Heritage-inspired design, with a fun take on the tournament's signature tartan plaid.
"The Heritage Classic Foundation is grateful to be partnering with this elite lifestyle brand," said Steve Wilmot, President of the Heritage Classic Foundation. "We are proud of our South Carolina heritage as we celebrate fifty one years and jumped at the chance to be styled by this well-known Palmetto State brand that is available at more than 850 retail locations across the country."
Christopher Heyn, CEO of Southern Tide, goes on to say, "The RBC Heritage is a celebrated tradition among golf enthusiasts and a must-experience event in the Southeast. In all that we do, our goal is to have fun with family and friends while looking great. Golf is a pastime enjoyed by many of our fans and has played a special role in the Southern Tide identity throughout the years. We're excited to bring our fresh take on coastal lifestyle sportswear to the PGA TOUR and to embrace what we are all about."
The 51st annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will take place April 15-21, 2019 at the famed Harbour Town Golf Links. Tournament tickets are on sale at www.rbcheritage.com.
