Socius Offers Complimentary Workshops to Assess Azure Readiness

Socius is now proud to announce that in partnership with Microsoft it will be providing clients with "Azure Everywhere" workshops, designed to increase understanding of Azure, help develop a unique business strategy, and experience the value of the cloud for organizations ready to start building a cloud strategy.

Socius' Azure experts will work with organizations to help them choose which of the three offered workshops are right for their business. They will also offer strategic recommendations and help roadmap the best ways to achieve organizations' goals by leveraging Azure.

The three workshop options are:

AZURE IAAS FOUNDATION—Organizations will receive education and guidance on leveraging infrastructure as well as optimizing workload hosting in the cloud. Socius' experts will help organizations identify, plan, and ultimately build a functioning environment in the cloud using the VM hosting capabilities, networking, and storage of Azure. They will also plan active directory integration or federation to enable hybrid workloads.

DEV/TEST ON AZURE IAAS—Experts will provide general education and training for creating a development and testing environment using Microsoft Azure. Experts will go in-depth on the power of scripting tools for dev/test functions within Azure. Users will also get hands on experience using the different scripts to create three different development and testing environments.

SQL ON IAAS—This workshop offers education, planning, assistance and guidance on configuring an SQL VM in Azure IaaS for optimal performance. Experts will also offer advice on planning and configuration of infrastructure to extend premises network, as well as how to secure your environment with workload planning. Socius' experts will also advise on using Azure for disaster recovery and SQL backups.
