Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Draws More than 5,000 to Career Fair Expo at Indianapolis Convention Center
Connecting thousands of students and professionals to more than 200 companies
INDUSTRY, Calif., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) will bring together more than 5,000 Hispanic students and professionals to its Career Fair Expo this week at the Indianapolis Convention Center, connecting them to more than 200 leading companies. The Career Fair Expo takes place Friday, November 1 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Saturday, November 2 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
SHPE's Career Fair Expo offers a unique opportunity for students and professionals to meet representatives from sponsoring corporations, non-profit organizations, government agencies and graduate schools to learn about the latest technologies and career options in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.
The career fair will include scheduled interviews for attendees. Attendees will interact with employers from various industries including Fortune 500 companies like ExxonMobil, Chevron, General Motors, General Electric, Google, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard.
