Social Media Marketing Agency Room 214 Wins Top Prize at Colorado AMA Peak Awards

BOULDER, Colo., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Social media marketing agency, Room 214, received the Grand Peak Award at the Colorado American Marketing Association's Peak Awards for their social media campaign with Udi's Gluten Free Foods.

Room 214 received the Gold Award for the social media / viral marketing category, then took the evening's top (Grand Peak) award for the "Udi's Joy Mission."

The awards recognized work that included a custom Facebook application developed by Room 214 as part of a 2011 holiday campaign focused on inspiring word of mouth awareness and giving back to the community.

Through Udi's Facebook page, fans of the brand could virtually send free Udi's Gluten Free "gift bundles" to three of their friends. Those friends could then redeem the gift bundle to have it physically delivered to their front door.

In an effort to extend this giving frenzy to those in need, Udi's also pledged to donate one meal to a family in need for every new Like to their page. By the end of the campaign, 40,000 meals were donated to families, and over 25,000 people were sent free Udi's Gluten Free Foods.
