Snappy Kraken Earns Spot on List of 2019 Best Places to Work in Financial Technology
Florida-based MarTech firm continues to earn high praise from industry insiders and financial advisors adopting their omni-channel marketing system.
ORMOND BEACH, Fla., March 5, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- In its latest accolade, Snappy Kraken was named to the 2019 List of "Best Places to Work in Financial Technology." Snappy Kraken is a MarTech company that helps financial professionals automate their marketing and business processes. Snappy Kraken ranked 14th out of a list of 50 finalists.
The list was the result of a two-part survey process. The first part involved an evaluation of the nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. Part two was a survey of employees to measure their experience. This annual survey and awards program, presented by SourceMedia and Best Companies Group, is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the financial technology industry.
Snappy Kraken's employees work remotely and have flexibility in terms of hours, work environment and location, all of which differentiates the company from others on the list. Judges also highlighted the firm's sabbatical program, in which all employees are eligible for a one-month paid sabbatical after three years at the company.
"We definitely have a more modern culture than most companies in the financial industry," said Robert Sofia, founder and CEO of Snappy Kraken. "It's one that places just as much emphasis on serving our employees as it does on serving our clients. We give each employee the freedom to work in the way and place that results in the best performance for them as individuals."
To be considered for inclusion on the list, companies had to: provide technology products, services or solutions that enable the delivery of financial services; have at least 15 employees working in the US; and been in business a minimum of 1 year. Today, Snappy Kraken is a team of 24 and growing, with numerous career opportunities in technology fields, including engineering and system administration.
Earlier this year the firm announced the launch of customizable content that locks out other financial advisors in the same geographic area from using the same material. With the purchase of a Snappy Kraken subscription, advisors gain campaign rights for an entire region, guaranteeing the advisor's content marketing is unique to their market. The professionally produced content can be customized to more accurately reflect the advisor's voice. All materials are FINRA reviewed.
