The show previewed SheaMoisture's "A Better Way to Beautiful" Cosmetics Collection, which launches exclusively at Target stores this spring. The makeup is shea butter-based with certified organic and natural ingredients, and features a customizable palette in two sizes. The paraben-free collection includes cc cream, lip stain, lip crayons, wet/dry eye shadow, mineral blush and other offerings, with a range of on-trend, classic and nude shades that suit all skin tones.
For Momolu's sophisticated and military-inspired "Urban Coup" collection, Gomez created a look that complimented the designer's vision of paying tribute to the increasing strength and precision of women's wear in the fashion industry,
"To reflect the elegance and edginess of Korto's collection, I began by applying SheaMoisture Sheer Foundation all over for an even and flawless finish," says Gomez. "Then using SheaMoisture Wet/Dry Powder, I applied one shade darker than the model's skin tone across the forehead by the temples and underneath the cheekbones to create a contour effect. I followed with a SheaMoisture Charcoal Black Eye Liner to softly line the shape of the lips, filling them in lightly. The last step was applying SheaMoisture Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Elsa (a vibrant emerald green shade) with a clear gloss, to create the bold, signature lip that radiated on the runway."
Bailey created 30's inspired waves by first applying SheaMoisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie on damp hair. She then set hair in pin curls and further shaped waves with double barrel curling iron, applying SheaMoisture Raw Shea Reconstructive Elixir to hair for high gloss shine and to reduce frizz. She finished by misting hair with SheaMoisture Hold & Shine Moisture Mist for hydration and light hold.
