Senior TransPerfect Technology Staff Resigns On Same Day Auction Bids Due To Custodian

DOVER, Del., Nov. 8, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens for a Pro-Business Delaware learned today that Joe Kuefler, the President of TransPerfect's translation technology, OneLink, resigned. His resignation coincides with the court-appointed Custodian's due date for offers on TransPerfect.

The resignation comes on the heels of a recent interview on slator.com where Elizabeth Elting, Co-CEO of TransPerfect, qualified the resignations of Chief Officers and Senior Vice Presidents, calling them underperformers. 

Kuefler was an 11-year employee of TransPerfect and credited for bringing in more than $100 million from the OneLink technology. Just after Kuefler resigned, Andrew Stanley, Vice President of APAC, Nadim Ali, Director of Global Recruitment and Angus Ulyate, Regional Director of Business Development submitted their resignation. All were 10+ year employees of TransPerfect and critical to the development and success of TransPerfect's EU and APAC. This recent loss marks ten senior staff to leave the technology team in the last two weeks and 19 longtime employees to resign in the last 4 weeks.

The newest resignation further illustrates the disregard that the court-appointed Custodian has shown towards senior leadership at TransPerfect.

Citizens for a Pro-Business Delaware continues pressure on legislators to step in and save TransPerfect from the court-appointed Custodian. "It's hard to understand how legislators can sit by and watch the irresponsible actions of a Delaware-sanctioned representative as he drives more and more TransPerfect employees out the door," said Miranda Wessinger. "The Custodian's audacity threatens more than 4,000 American jobs and it's the legislature's duty to step in and curb the Court-appointed Custodian's unruly power grab."

Citizens for a Pro-Business Delaware is a group made up of more than 2,200 members including employees of the global translation services company TransPerfect, as well as concerned Delaware residents, business executives and others. They formed in April of 2016 to focus on raising awareness with Delaware residents, elected officials, and other stakeholders about the issue.
