New Campaign and Supportive "Progress to Seiko" Message to Celebrate Values and Ambitions of Modern Generation
MAHWAH, N.J., April 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seiko Corporation of America, a subsidiary of Seiko Watch Corporation, is proud to announce the unveiling of its brand new national marketing campaign, "The Seiko Nation," along with a fresh corporate message, "Progress to Seiko," rolling out in August 2013. Utilizing fresh visual assets and language inspired by the design, quality, precision and progressive attitude of the Seiko brand, this revolutionary campaign will be introduced through Seiko's distinctive print, digital and social marketing channels, impressive point of sale executions, and a new, innovative broadcast initiative.
Developed with America's new-and-now generation in mind, "The Seiko Nation" movement represents a community of self-expressed watch seekers – passionate pioneers – who take pride in making candid choices that define their personal style. These passionate pioneers are celebrated through "The Seiko Nation" campaign, focusing on their values and ambitions: individuality, intelligence, independence and relentless innovation. Supporting this movement with the new, simple "Progress to Seiko" message, Seiko will continue to inspire and speak to its valuable consumers through key communication tools, focusing on Seiko's coveted qualities in the watch industry, while empowering and enabling them to pursue their passions and constantly progress to a brighter future in style.
To help launch this new initiative, The Seiko Nation is proudly re-introducing broadcast marketing into its roll-out plan, while expanding its category of brand ambassadors for the campaign's broadcast marketing debut. Joining US Soccer icons Landon Donovan and Hope Solo in this national spot (15 and 30-seconds) will be eco-entrepreneur Graham Hill and famed ballet dancer Jessica Saund. Both Landon Donovan and Hope Solo's advertising campaigns will also be revamped this fall with a fresh makeover, in addition to many other updates and changes that Seiko is thrilled to unveil.
