Fleury was honored during the DMEC's 19th Annual Conference in Las Vegas.
DMEC promotes education and professional networking in the integrated disability and absence management industry. Each year, DMEC recognizes one of its members whose volunteer efforts and overall passion for the industry have helped the organization succeed.
Fleury has made many significant contributions to the organization, including volunteering her time to update the fall 2014 curriculum materials for the Certified Professional in Disability Management program. She has also worked to enhance the nationally-recognized DMEC Tools of the Trade guidebook, which will be published this fall. In addition, Fleury is a regular contributor to the @Work magazine column "Absence Matters" and is a member of the DMEC Executive Advisory Board.
Fleury has more than 25 years of experience in occupational and non-occupational disability and absence management. She serves as an expert resource for Sedgwick's client services team and helps to identify opportunities for key program enhancements.
Previously, Fleury was a senior consultant in the national absence management practice at Mercer. During her career, she has served as a consultant for both public and private employers and assisted in the design and implementation of their programs.
