SearchYourCloud Named Finalist in US Search Awards

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- SearchYourCloud, the full-text, secure search for file and email, the application designed to enable people to securely find and access information, has been announced as a finalist in the Search Innovation category of the US Search Awards 2013. The awards recognize and reward organizations, agencies, and individuals based—or working in—the US search and digital marketing industry.

SearchYourCloud is a finalist in the Search Innovation Category which recognizes innovation in the development or use of a search campaign or software tool / platform. SearchYourCloud provides a single search capability from virtually any device for information stored in the cloud, including Dropbox, Google Drive, Box and Sky Drive among others.

SearchYourCloud does not create a direct network connection between a mobile device and the host computer/network, and holds no file contents. Rather, data is synchronized to the cloud provider where it is fully encrypted to AES 256 and can be securely accessed from a tablet, smartphone or Windows PC. It also provides the ability to automatically delete 'off-line' files from a mobile device after a pre-set time.  This keeps user details and sensitive content from being cached on the device.

• Document Formats. SearchYourCloud may be used to search document types stored using Dropbox, Exchange, Office 365 and Microsoft Office formats including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, and SharePoint -- with other cloud stores coming later in the year.
• Share. Users may privately share a file with others by creating a separate copy of the specified file into a new, isolated store area.
