ATLANTA, Nov. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SCOUT, an integrated advertising agency based in Atlanta, Ga., collected three MarCom Awards in the 2016 creative competition for marketing and communications professionals.
The international awards competition recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs.
"To be recognized among the top agencies in the world for our creativity and bold, brave thinking is an incredible honor," said Mark Goldman, President/Chief Strategy Officer of SCOUT.
There were over 6,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 17 other countries in the 2016 competition. Winners were selected from over 300 categories in Print, Web, Video and Strategic Communications.
SCOUT garnered three awards, including:
- PLATINUM: Nature's Own Good and Simple Integrated Campaign -- To help make life a little less complicated for busy moms, SCOUT, with media planning and buying partner BrandCottage, created this new year-long campaign for Nature's Own designed to bring back the "Good and Simple" life that moms long for. Supported by TV, radio, digital, social, FSIs, out-of-home and new delivery truck designs, the campaign brings to life the good and simple stories that mean the most to moms in daily family life.
- GOLD: Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation Pro Bono Campaign -- SCOUT created the "Stand Tall" ad campaign for this organization, founded in honor of fallen 9/11 firefighter Stephen Siller to provide much-needed help to first responders and service members in times of crisis. The video and print campaign asks people to "Stand Tall"—like these heroes have for us—by donating $11 dollars to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation to help first responders and military.
- HONORABLE MENTION: KaDunks :30 Single Spot – KaDunks, a new innovative dipping candy created by start-up YOLO Candy, called on SCOUT to create equally as innovative creative to help sell their new product into Walmart. SCOUT used primary research to discover the unparalleled excitement kids felt for the unique dunking experience with the candy's super-sour goo, and then translated that excitement into a revolutionary new look for candy creative. Walmart accepted the product based on the innovative product, innovative creative and investment in media to drive sales.
